Campaign Owners
- What is communitee? communitee is a crowd funded e commerce platform that helps individuals and organisations raise funds or revenue by designing and selling your own bespoke printed clothing.
- What can I sell on communitee? A full range of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies in many colours.
- What does communitee offer? Here at communitee we supply top quality ethically sourced garments printed in the UK by first class printers. We remove all the hassle of holding stock, production, packaging and shipping and take care of all the admin and customer service.
- How much does it cost to create a campaign? Nothing! The service is completely free.
- Who can create a campaign? Anyone can! Charities, influencers, celebrities, sports teams, schools, universities and clubs. You or I can create a campaign – and keep the profits, or decide to raise the funds for a good cause.
- How long can a campaign run for? The duration of a campaign is your choice, anything from 7 to 30 days.
- What is the goal and who sets it? The goal is the target amount of garment sales you want to reach. For this there is a minimum of 10 per campaign. You set the goal, it’s your choice. There is no maximum goal.
- What if a campaign does not reach its goal or beats its goal? If a campaign does not reach its goal but is still profitable for you we will still produce the orders. In this case the cost price to you will be adjusted to reflect the new lower quantity or if the campaign beats its goal we will adjust the cost price to you to reflect the new higher quantity.
- Who sets the sale price? You do, you are in charge of each campaign. Remember to set realistic prices in order to maximise sales.
- How is my profit calculated? When you set your sales goal quantity we will automatically provide you with a cost price. You will then decide the sell price including VAT so the difference between the cost price and the sell price minus the VAT is your profit per item. For example if the cost price is £5 and you sell for £15 then the VAT deduction is 20% of the sell price which is £2.50 which then leaves you with a profit of £7.50 per item.
- Why is VAT deducted? As Communitee Ltd conducts every transaction with your buyers we are providing a product and a service which attracts VAT at the applicable rate of 20%. The good news is kids clothing has no VAT applicable.
- When do I get my profits? Your profits are payable to you 7 - 10 days after a successful campaign has ended. You request your profit payment via your seller dashboard.
- What kind of file should I use to upload my design? We prefer the design in vector SVG format because it will retain its quality when sent to print. JPEG, PNG or GIF files will also work but they need to have a resolution of 300 DPI minimum. For large prints designs should be in 5000 by 5000 pixel resolution at 300 DPI. The max image size is 15 MB. If you have any further questions please contact us at info@communitee.co.uk.
- How long does it take for my product to be delivered? We ship within 5-7 working days of the campaign ending. Once shipped. UK delivery 2-3 days. Europe delivery 5-7 days. Rest of the world 14-21 days We are always looking for ways to speed up our delivery times so more than often you will receive your order much faster than the times quoted above.
- Can I start a campaign for a specifically timed event? Yes, but please take into account campaign length and delivery times and give yourself a 5-7 working day buffer.

- What will be the URL for my campaign web page? You get to choose your own bespoke URL.

- What is intellectual property and how does it affect my communitee campaign? Intellectual property is designs, logos and imagery legally in the registered ownership of any individual, organisation or company. For example intellectual property includes material copyrighted or trademarked associated with sports teams, clothing brands, music artists, television shows and film. We do not want your campaign to be jeopardised in any way, so please ensure the design you use for a campaign is your own or if not you have documented permission to use it.
- If I am inspired by someone else’s design can I use it? You can use a design if you have documented permission from the owner to use that design. Alternatively, you can create your own design, but it must not be substantially or confusingly similar to any other trademarked or copyrighted design.
